Meet Susan Laine, M.S., CCC-SLP
Susan is a licensed speech-language pathologist who believes that communication is more than just words, it’s the foundation of connection, confidence, and independence. She provides speech therapy for both children and adults, creating a safe and empowering space where every client feels seen, heard, and supported.
With a Master’s degree from James Madison University and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Susan brings both deep clinical expertise and heartfelt dedication to her work. Her approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. Whether she’s helping a child find their first words or supporting an adult recovering communication after a stroke, Susan tailors therapy to each person’s unique goals, pace, and story.
She works closely with families and caregivers, recognizing that communication doesn't end when a session is over, it thrives when we all work together. Sessions with Susan are warm, encouraging, and personalized. Clients might practice structured tasks, real-life conversations, or play-based learning, depending on their age and needs. And at the end of each session, Susan shares helpful strategies to support ongoing growth at home.
What Sets Susan Apart:
Deep experience with both pediatric and adult therapy
A belief in the power of relationships to support growth
A calm, encouraging presence that puts clients at ease
Sessions that are both practical and meaningful
A focus on whole-family support, not just individual goals
Susan is passionate about helping people find their voice—at any age, and in any stage of life.
